Returning an Item
Return Status and Policy
• Return times can vary depending on the shipping method chosen when sending the return.
• If you are returning a product without a pre-authorized shipping label, we recommend that you send it by a traceable method. This will allow you to know exactly when the item is received at our warehouse.
• It will take up to ten business days for the refund to be applied once the return has been received.
• It will take 1 to 2 business cycles for the credit to appear on your statement depending upon statement cut-off timing.
• The original form of payment on the order will be credited. If your credit card is no longer valid, please advise us immediately.
• To exchange an item purchased from RacksUnleashed.com, you need to place a new order and return your original purchase.
DAMAGED OR DEFECTIVE ITEMS
We are sorry that you have received an item that is damaged or defective. If you have received an item that was damaged or defective upon arrival, please call our Customer Service Department immediately. It is important that you contact us before returning the item, so that we may assist you with return shipping fees. If you do not contact us, you are responsible for all return shipping charges.
Things to have before you call us:
• Your order number. If you do not know your order number, please have your shipping paperwork available.
• A detailed description of the damage or defect.
To return items purchased online, please follow these steps:
1. Detach the top of your invoice and keep it for your records.
2. Complete the return reason form on the invoice.
3. Pack the item(s) securely in the original product packaging, if possible. Please include all items and paperwork. All items must be returned in good condition to ensure credit.
4. Enclose the bottom perforated portion of your invoice with the item. If you can not send your invoice, please include their order number, billing name, and address with the item(s).
5. Affix the pre-addressed label onto your return package.
6. Before sending their return shipment, please remove all extra labels from the outside of the package.
7. Ship your package to us. It is recommended that you use a traceable and insurable shipping method. All return shipping charges must be prepaid. Racks Unleashed cannot accept C.O.D. deliveries.
